I run 4 - 5 times a week so I have tried on a few different shorts for running. It is made of 90% polyester and 10% spandex. I like this one above other brands or maybe on par with my New Balance running shorts. It is light weight, true to size and breathable. It doesn't have the annoying inner lining that comes up to groin and bothers you the whole time you are running. It also has pockets on both sizes and also on the back with zippers. Considering that other brand running shorts cost 2 - 3 times, this is a great deal!
Great hiking shorts. They dry fast when they get wet which made the hike very enjoyable after kayaking.
