This short is more cotton than polyester, it's pretty thicc and feel more like a casual walking short vs workout shirt. Size is a tad larger than normal XL, but feels very comfy nonetheless. May not feel super comfortable in hot weather as this is not very breathable, but it would definitely absorb all your sweats.
Overall nice sweat shorts. Fit is good for a medium and the fabric is comfortable. I like the Northyard logo patch on the leg as well.
I generally don't buy off-brand clothes online, but I needed some extra jogging short so I gave these a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The medium size fit my 31" waist well. The fabric is soft, and despite some bulky seams on the inside, they are pretty comfortable. Additionally, the back pocket is big enough to hold a phone, which is not always the case for athletic shorts. Having zippered front pockets is also a plus. It keeps things from falling out when sitting down. They are also big enough for a phone, so I can switch from the back pocket to the front to keep it from bouncing out when actually running.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but was definitely pleased upon opening the package when these arrived.This is a nice pair of workout or jogging shorts, made with a good cotton fabric blend. The style, cut, length and stitching are all top-notch. These are 64.5% cotton so probably a good idea to wash these in cold or cool water and dry on low, or line dry. i.e. Be careful not to shrink them in the dryer.Sizing is accurate and the fit is good and comfortable... not baggy, yet not loose either.There are front pockets on each side, both with zippers to keep things secure. There is also a regular pocket on the right rear. The drawstring is just the right length with a good thickness.Excellent quality casual shorts for workouts, yard work, or the beach. Definitely worth the money.
I'm 5'7" and got the small. They fit well! They're comfy sweat shorts, great for lounging around the house. They're a bit thick, so they should be durable and last a while, however this means that they're a bit too warm to wear on a hot day.The pockets have zippers which is nice for going for a run so your phone or keys don't slip out.Drawstrings are a good design and also quite thick.I'd recommend them if you are looking for sweat shorts.
